About Us

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sonia Gibson, the owner of Le Pooch Grooming & Spa in downtown Alma. I have two fur babies of my own, Mia and Boomer. I quickly became aware of the demand for grooming services. During the Pandemic, I started grooming my own pets and was inspired to take steps to make it a career. I received my education and experience through the Pet Grooming Plus program at Michigan School of Canine Cosmetology where I also became CPR and first aid certified. With the support of my wonderful husband Aaron and our family, we were able to turn this love I have for grooming into something great! We welcome you and your pets to be part of the LePooch family where I will treat your pets like our own.  I have been a resident of Alma my entire life and I’m proud to serve our community with pet grooming services.
